Mediterraneo Hospital provides high quality ambulance services, tailored to every need 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
The modern ambulance vehicles of Mediterraneo Hospital have the approval of NEAC (National Emergency Aid Centre), as required by law. They are equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology for transporting patients in critical condition and are staffed by graduate paramedics of NEAC School who provide prompt and safe transport services.
As part of the SARS-CoV-2 precautionary measures, ambulances are disinfected according to the Quality System guidelines and paramedics use all the means provided for their own protection and the protection of our patients.
Apart from emergencies, a wide range of ambulance services is provided:
- Transfers between Mediterraneo and other hospitals
- Transportation of patients who are unable to travel to the hospital to have routine diagnostic tests
- Transportation of people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) to the Artificial Kidney Unit for their dialysis session
- Transportation of patients arriving at the port of Piraeus and the airport El. Venizelos from the provinces or abroad
