ATLS® training methods emphasize on the active involvement trainees who interact with the instructors during both the practical and theoretical part of their training.
Moreover, trainees practice on dummies and mannequins simulating a wide range of trauma cases while there is also an Experimental (dummy) Operating Room. Last but not least, at the program’s end trainees sit through a series of written and oral exams to have knowledge and competence acquisition in managing heavily injured patients properly evaluated and certified.
